Our campsite has got a personal touch to it and boasts some quality facilities you would not normally find on a campsite this size.  Camping Caradon is 3.5 acres of level ground with easy access. We provide 75 level grass pitches, all pegged out and all have the availability of "16 amp" hook-ups.
22 pitches available with Integra Hardstandings (Recycled plastic grids in the grass). Our ground drains really well, and we never have problems with flooding as we are on higher ground.
Hire of RCD leads available. Electric hook up leads for Tents and Camper vans. "RCD-Leads are applicable to health & Safety"
Motorhome service point. Drive on service point for waste dumping and water refill.
Chemical toilet waste "under cover" by end of Amenity block.
4 water points. 1 in the park and 3 around the Amenity block.
4 drainage points for grey water around the Amenity block.

Ladies and Gents. Entrance from either side of the Amenity Block. Ample showers and toilets provided.
Free hot showers. (no coins or push button showers)
Amenity block has central heating on a timer in the colder months.

Laundry room with Ironing facilities, 2 x Washing machines and 2 x Tumble dryers. £3.00 for a wash. most coins can be used for the tumble dryers.
"Under cover" washing up area.
Disabled/Family rooms
2 x Disabled/family bathrooms for families with children aged 5 and under & for less abled people. The rooms are wheelchair and buggie accessible. when booking on site, ask for key in the Reception. A £5.00 deposit is needed, the deposit is returned at the end of your stay when the key is handed in.
GREEN NOTE!
Collected rain water! from the roof of the amenity block flushes the toilets. (Switches automatic to mains water if necessary). Solar panels help heat the water up on sunny days, if the sun fails us, our energy efficient Worcester boiler keeps the water warm at all times. We use Environmentally friendly Hand Soap & Cleaning Products in our facilities. The Toilet paper "ECO Soft" is made from 100% recycled materials. We are very proud to have been awarded an "GTBS" Green Tourism GOLD Award.

Here we welcome you to Camping Caradon.
In our display area, you will find info and leaflets on most attractions/events in our local area and rest of Cornwall.
We provide a local map for walks in our area, and bus time tables if you wish to go by bus from site to/from Looe & Polperro. For further information you just have to ask, and we will do our best to help you.

Avoid queuing, purchase fast track tickets to the "Eden Project" in our reception.
In the shop we stock most essential foods. Cornish Milk, egg, bread, sausages and bacon (from local butcher 1.5miles away in Pelynt) etc. Camping gas, toys and a range of camping equipment. Calor bottles, available all year. Newspaper to order "all year round".
(Shop open: mid & high season, from 9am) The Shop is not open in low season, only on demand.

Barrier into park (operated by code), situated by entrance just after the Shop/Reception.
Non operational in "quiet hours" 11pm. - 7am.
No vehicle movement in "quiet hours" you must park in front of the Shop/Reception.

A Great place for some evening relaxation for both families and couples.
Licensed Bar. We serve a selection of draft beer including “Real Cornish Ale” from St Austell Brewery. We also stock "Cornish Scrumpy" and "Rattler" from the Cornish Ciderfarm.
Games, darts, table- tennis, TV, Playstation "PS1" (free). Pool table (£1.00). For the younger kids there is a selection of kids toys.
Visit our £0.50 book library in clubroom (donations go to the NRLI "Royal National Lifeboat Institute").
LIVE ENTERTAINMENT IN BAR/CLUBROOM ON EASTER SATURDAY NIGHT

Bar open: every evening mid & high season and weekends in low season
BAR MEALS COOKED BY OUR EXCELLENT CHEF; AVAILABLE IN MID-SEASON AND QUALITY "TAKE AWAY" AVAILABLE IN HIGH SEASON.
All Meats are from local butchers, Cornish & Devon sourced. We try to use local produce whenever possible.

Playground for the 2 - 11 year olds, with swings, toddler bucket, slide, climbing wall, rope and step ladder.
take a view out on the park from the castle through the periscope or binoculars or take controlby the ship`s wheel.
There are plenty of seats and benches for the adults to sit and relax, while the young ones are enjoying them selves.

Bus Stop in Park

We are on direct bus route to Looe, Polperro, Liskard and Plymouth every day using Westerngreyhound local bus service 573.
The "Bus Stop" is in the entrance to Camping Caradon. (bus time tables available in reception).
Link to bus timetable for bus service 573. Stop at our entrance is "Caradon Camping for Trelawne" Western Greyhound see no 572 to continue to Plymouth.
Summer times: May - October The bus stops at Camping Caradon every 30min for Looe & Polperro. Winter times: every hour to Looe & Polperro. Daily between 9am & 7pm.
Plymouth: The 9 o'clock bus no 572 would take you directly to Plymouth.
From Camping Caradon there are plenty of opportunities
for a "car free" day out.
